Clive Barkers författarskap har aldrig lockat mig särskilt. Jag har fått för mig att hans historier är för otroliga för att vara trovärdiga. Lite för flummiga.
MEN, det här är en riktigt bra bok. En spännande historia som jag lätt tar till mig och slukar med hull och hår. Jag läste den för några år sedan och den sitter fortfarande i minnet. Jag drar idag paralleller till Harry Potter och Enders spel. Det handlar alltså om en pojke med ovanliga gåvor som hamnar i en främmande värld och kämpar mot ondskan. Klassiskt.
